The Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science with a Minor in Cyber Forensics is a comprehensive undergraduate program designed to prepare students for careers in both traditional forensic laboratories and the rapidly evolving field of digital investigations. The core curriculum covers essential forensic disciplines including crime scene analysis, forensic chemistry, toxicology, and DNA profiling. Complementing this, the Cyber Forensics minor introduces students to digital crime scene procedures, cyber laws, network security, and techniques for retrieving and analyzing electronic evidence.
Students gain hands-on experience through laboratory work, simulated crime scene investigations, and case studies. The interdisciplinary approach ensures graduates are well-prepared to work in law enforcement, cybersecurity firms, intelligence agencies, and legal consultancy roles. Emphasis is placed on analytical thinking, legal awareness, ethical practice, and technological proficiency.
